AnvayaOS Brand and Media Guidance

Naming, ready-made descriptions, logo rules and the Industrial Safety palette — everything needed to write about AnvayaOS or place it alongside your own marks.

Preferred Name

Write AnvayaOS as one word: capital A, capital OS, no space or hyphen. “Anvaya” alone is acceptable on second mention and in file or package names. The tagline is The Operating System for the Intelligence Age. Do not write “AnvayaOS” or “AnvayaOS”, and do not translate the name.

Ready-Made Descriptions

One line. AnvayaOS is a clean-slate, capability-secure operating system for AI agents on RISC-V, proven release by release under QEMU.

Short. AnvayaOS is a clean-slate operating system built in the open on RISC-V. Its target state is AI-native execution with capability security and human oversight; RFC 0002 accepts the AEC semantic model while the runtime remains planned. Every release ships with a repeatable QEMU boot log, and nothing is claimed that a boot log cannot show.

Long. AnvayaOS treats computing as a high-precision instrument. A Rust nucleus on RISC-V gives nothing ambient authority: every syscall needs an explicit, revocable capability, every package carries a post-quantum signature checked against NIST's official test vectors, and every release must reproduce its own boot log. The project prioritises capability boundaries, interpretability and sustainable execution so people stay in command as intelligence systems scale.

Logo Usage

The mark is a lowercase “a” in teal on void. Keep clear space of at least the height of the mark on all sides, and never place it below 16 px.

  • Do not recolour, gradient, outline or add effects to the mark.
  • Do not stretch, rotate or crop it, or rebuild it in another typeface.
  • On light backgrounds, place the mark on a void-coloured field rather than inverting it.
  • Do not lock the mark up with another logo in a way that implies partnership.

Assets

The mark ships as vector source and as raster derivatives. Use the SVG wherever the surface allows it and scale from there; the WebP and PNG files exist for slide decks, stores and anything that cannot take a vector. Social cards for sharing are at /og.webp and /manifesto-og.webp, and the site favicon is served from /favicon.ico.

Typography

Headings and body text use IBM Plex Sans. Labels, code, evidence markers and version strings use IBM Plex Mono, usually uppercase with wide letter-spacing. Both are open source under the SIL Open Font License and self-hosted on this site.

Voice

Plain, technical, and precise about evidence: name the release, keep “QEMU-proven” attached to proof claims, and never present a target-state design as shipped behaviour. The AI policy page sets out the same rules for machine-generated summaries.
